IDEATRONIK was founded in 2004 by Adam Świątkowski, a passionate radio amateur and microprocessor programming enthusiast. What started as a small workshop in an attic, producing electronic car security devices, quickly evolved into an innovative technology company with a global reach.

As broadband Internet rapidly expanded in Poland, IDEATRONIK identified a new need for simple ADSL line testers and developed the DSL Monitor, used by the country’s largest telecom provider. This success opened the door to further innovation.

In 2009, the company launched its Smart PowerBank PoE series—compact battery-powered devices compatible with Power over Ethernet. After FCC certification, the products entered the U.S. and Canadian markets and have since been used worldwide, even during an expedition to the North Pole.

In 2014, IDEATRONIK introduced ControlBee, a brand focused on electronic monitoring systems for beekeeping. A year later, ControlBee won a gold medal at the APIMONDIA trade fair in South Korea. Today, it is the leading supplier of electronic devices for apiaries in the European Union and a recognized participant in the EU-funded DEMETER project.

In addition to its own brands, IDEATRONIK provides OEM and custom manufacturing services for clients across Europe, combining engineering expertise with a passion for innovation.
